Our soils have been through a huge transformation from dry pastoral grazing to productive grape growing. The Clay soil leads to natural low vine vigour with balanced crop levels, which gives a unique aromatic and flavoursome quality to the profile of the fruit.
There is often very predictable weather during spring flowering and a natural coastal breeze through spring and summer. This helps minimize the risk of frost and use of sprays.

The rich, full palate is powerful and weighty. A flavoursome, mouth-filling Sauvignon Blanc, the ripe fruit characters are beautifully balanced by refreshing acidity and a touch of that distinctive Blind River minerality.
