About Cape Campbell

Cape Campbell Wines is family owned and operated by Murray and Daphne Brown. The Browns have been growing grapes in Marlborough since 1980; considered one of the pioneers they were the first contract growers and then created their own label in 1992. Never to sit still the family sold their previous label and in 2002 bought 300 acres in the arid landscape of the Blind River area south of Seddon and the Awatere Valley. They were the first to plant vines in the area and established Cape Campbell wines.

The company specialises in producing premium wines which have won many awards and accolades and are sold in 10 international markets, plus locally in New Zealand. Varieties include, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer, Riesling and Pinot Noir.

The wines are made at South Pacific Cellars under the guidance of Graeme Paul General Manager and Assistant winemaker Susanne Stander in the purpose built winery which Cape Campbell owns a third share.
